Reference Photo 2-21-CaseXX-9383: Here is a problem for all new collectors to watch for. Better yet, stay away from celluoid handles. I added this knife to my collection in 1997. Not a spot on it then. This knife was made in the early period of the XX stamp as it does not have the pattern # on the blade. Just now in early stage of activation & nothing I can do about it. I will be keeping an eye on it, knowing at some point I will have to rip the handles off it.
