The elk antler was hollowed out using an awl, a file, sweat and just a little blood. THe blade is affixed with marine epoxy and Gorilla Glue. The pommel cap is a re-purposed cuff-link. My mother bought me the set some 40+ years ago when I was kid. I lot one years ago but never tossed this one out because it was Christmas gift from my mother. It now serves a purpose.
