This brings back so many boyhood memories, Indian! I was a Boy Scout and belonged to the Order of the Arrow (O.A.). I made my own costumes which was rich with bead work, danced, gave fire making demonstrations, and was totally absorbed in Indian lore. I know a lady who does authentic reproduction work using dyed quills, shells, and trade beads. She makes arrows and does everything the way it was done for centuries. She has her work in local museums and shops. I loved doing all of this when I was a Scout and your picture has brought those memories back so vividly I can still smell the smoke and hear the drums around the council fire.
