Right now...the fine folks at Queen Cutlery are making some of the best knives out there.

The Swell Jack shown in this photo is yet another GREAT example. In fact, I'd say that the overall quality on this knife is as good as nearly anything I've seen in years.

* Amber jigged bone handle scales are flawlessly executed.

* The bolsters, liners and blades are perfectly polished.

* The blades feature tool steel...which I like...A LOT. And this knife's blades are SHARP.

* This knife has a "half-stop". Frankly, I think that all folding pocket knives (traditional style) over $60 US should have this feature. It makes the knife much safer to open and close.

* Both blades are nicely centered in their sections. Queen Cutlery sometimes misses in this area...but not often (thankfully).

I have one tiny "knock" on this otherwise superb knife; the shield isn't pinned. Too bad. Had Queen Cutlery done that, this would be "flawless"...
