I've always like the simple elegance of the "single bladed trapper" design. Shown here is Queen's model #11, in Curly Zebrawood. The blade is D2 Tool Steel, which I like. You have to keep it oiled up, but it'll hold an edge quite nicely. The quality on this moderately priced knife is good...though not quite as "high and tight" as some of my other Queen Curly Zebrawood models.

Speaking of the Curly Zebrawood...just look at the grain pattern on those handle scales! BEAUTIFUL...
