As the saying goes..."A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." 

I think that we can safely call it Beautiful and be completely accurate in its description.

Ron and Max according to the vendor that I got it from S&M classify this as Mahogany Sambar Stag.  Now I am not sure what that means as there seems to be many different names for the same material.
