Xmas gift. Made in up state NY by a female folk artists/bladesmith. High carbon, coal forged, single copper pin. Extra weird. I love this piece.

Glad you guys enjoyed it, too.

Jan- Came with a card that said Liza Belle Leather with a phone number, 845-586-4006. I was gonna call her some time and see if she made the knife as well. My girlfriend, who gave it to me, said there was one made of a coyote jawbone but was out of her price range. May try to add that to the collection later.

Ivars- To each his own! I like unusual/strange pieces. This one is obviously more an art piece than functional tool. For me it conjures images of unexpected realities where bones and blades hold a special significance to life and combined they create something mystical :) Though, I also love the classic and traditional knives as well!

J.J.- I love artknives.com Great site to drool over!

Wow! That knife sets the bar for cool! That's a knife that could bite you at either end -- Gnarly! I love it! What a great gift to be at the receiving end of. Use it in good health, my friend.
