This knife is made in China, but is not your typical "made in China" knife. I bought this one as a rescue knife, maybe to be left in my car.  The blade is made of 8Cr14MoV, which seems to hold a good edge ( I was able to carry one for about a month in a knife "pass around"). The other features consist of: a seat belt cutter, can opener and a window breaker. The handle is made of G10 and it has a pocket clip. This knife has a very sharp edge right out of the box.I did not want the knife for it's overall look, but for the features it offers and the quality. For not being an assist open knife, it is probably one of the smoothest opening knives I have seen. Thanks to my wonderful wife, I got this for CHRISTmas. P.S. My son who is going to be starting EMT and fire training in a couple of weeks, got one also, I hope it meets the requirements that he will need it for.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
