Finally located what I believe is a first generation Rough Rider "Large" Stockman.
RR 323 is 4 1/2 inches long, red jigged scales with the early round shield and the "Always Ready" blade etching.
Comes with a nylon belt sheath.

Sellers discription says that it's pretty 2000...

THIS ROUGH RIDER (RR323) IS BEING CALLED NEW OLD STOCK. STILL IN IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGING JUST TAKEN OUT FOR PICTURES. THE KNIFE IN THE PICTURES IS THE KNIFE YOU WILL RECEIVE. KNIFE MEASURES 4.5" CLOSED. RED JIGGED BONE HANDLES WITH THE ROUND ROUGH RIDER HORSESHOE INLAYED ON ONE SIDE. THE NICKEL SILVER RINGED BOLSTERS DO HAVE SOME SLIGHT SCRATCHING ON THEM-NOT BAD BUT THERE. I THINK EVERY KNIFE I HAVE EVER PURCHASED HAS HAD SLIGHT SCRATCHING ON THE BOLSTERS. BRASS PINS (NO CRACKS) AND LINERS. THIS KNIFE IS PRE YEAR 2000-HAS ROUGH RIDER HORSESHOE STAMPED ON MAIN BLADE AND THE OLD SCHOOL YELLOW BOX (IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN SOMETIMES WITHOUT DAMAGING). ALL THREE BLADES HAVE EXCELLENT SNAP. THE BOX DOES SHOW SOME SHELF WEAR (SEE PICTURES). THE MAIN CLIP POINT BLADE HAS THE ROUGH RIDER HORSESHOE STAMPED ON THE TANG AND THE HORSESHOE ALWAYS READY ON THE BLADE ITSELF. THE BACKSIDE HAS 440 RAZOR SHARP STEEL STAMPED ON THE TANG WITH CHINA WRITTEN ON THE BLADE. THE OTHER TWO BLADES ARE BLANK. THIS KNIFE COMES WITH A BLACK ROUGH RIDER SHEATH WITH BELT LOOP. This one comes from the "Rough Rider Challenge" era.  

Good blade thickness.  Build quality is decent, typical of the time it was produced.
