I don't think I have seen a Hoof Pick Knife in a Rough Rider. I know Frost has them in the Steel Warrior brand.

I have all the Rough Riders I have because it is hard to find comparable knives with the fit and finish for the same price point. Peter, I am glad to hear that about their collectibility in China. I have a lot of Frost knives, but I agree with J.J. That the Rough Rider is a better knife.

I don't know, Peter.  I thing that Rough Riders are a couple of steps above Frost knives.     Fit, finish and mechanics are better.

this is just a guess...but ROUGH RIDER knives have always had a PARKER/FROST etc etc feel to me.

they even remind me of bear and son or bear NGC knives.  hey by the way ROUG RIDER FUN FACT... in china ROUGH RIDER is considered a very collectable knife. whatever you spend USA,normally they spend about 6 times that.avergae RR knife in China is 40$-60$.   i like the shield would be nice for a HOOF PICK KNIFE.
