The knife is 3 3/4 inches closed. As mentioned the liners and spacers are slim. The the blades are also slimmer than those on other camp knives. I assume this if because they are 440C instead of 440A or a 420 series steel. I'm not sure if the trade off is worth it. I'll know over time. As it is, the 420J2 blades on the Coleman won the cutting contest straight out of the box. But at $14, the knife is still a keeper. I'm not sure I'll buy another Sarge knife without examining it person first.

No problem.  Like I said it looks nice but it has a few issues.  The real problem is the blade catching on the cap lifter.
