If there is a knife eqivalent to a stock to margin the farm on, it's all Colonel Coon Knives - Now being made under contract by Queen Cutlery SMKW have created a demand for factory issuings not seen in years. eBay sales last year were about 1/2 bid sales for all of the Colonels products. This year they are raising the Buy Now (all or almost all 30 day listings) double +++ froom September 2008. There moto is "Designed by Collectors for Collectors" In 1978, Adrian Harris / Tennessee Knife Works, Inc. Starting out with only a barlow patern, SMKW added the market wiz and took the manufacturing to Queen in Titusville. With hat and other simple marketing efforts the buz took off. Now with the quality of Queen and knife tv from SMKW, the brand has made it's mark in history. I wanted to buy one of this years Stags that are incredable, but I was on a yearlod black cherry budget. This is 1 of 400 of the patern. All are limited editions and great conversation pieces. Now you know where Coon P came from.
