So...I've got a couple of Lone Wolf T1's. I've got a couple of incredible...ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE...T2's. I've been chasing a T3 for 3 years (Lone Wolf discontinued this model). Bloody well hard to find!!!!!!! Until now! Yes...this particular journey...this "Grail" (well, of sorts) is over...I've landed my own T3!

For those of you that don't know... the Lone Wolf Knives T3 model is, by far, the largest of their T-series (#1 is the smallest...a good EDC choice and #2 is a "large" tactical folder). All the models (1, 2 and 3) feature CPMS30V blades, phosphor bronze washers, super-strong pivots, great thumbstuds, perfect jimping, a super ergonomic handle and perhaps the very best liner lock that I've seen on a production knife. These are super-serious folding knives. Top-notch quality.

So...how big is the T3? It positively DWARFS the T2...which is a good sized "large folder". Closed, the T-3 measures 5 7/8" long. Open...OPEN...it measures an intimidating 10 11/16"!!!! Now that's a KNIFE....

This is one of my favorite folding knife designs of all time. William Harsey outdid himself on this. And guess what? When you deploy this knife into the "open" position, it really sounds burly (like a shotgun being racked...er, a mini one).

Last thoughts on this; since Benchmade purchased Lone Wolf Knives...I want to ask Benchmade to reactivate the T3 model. This is simply too incredible of a design to be discontinued!
