Beautiful USA Made Schrade 858 Old Timer dubbed "The Lumberjack", introduced in 1978 it measures 4-5/8" closed and has 3 Hardened Carbon Blades and Sawcut Delrin handles with the legendary "Old Timer" shield placed in the markside handle. Solid Brass Liners and Hardened Carbon Springs they were built to last a lifetime. Accompanying it is the Schrade Old Timer Leather Sheath which is specific to this particular knife by Schrade. This Schrade USA 858OT has Perfect Walk & Talk and beautiful threaded nickel silver bolsters. This was Schrade's biggest premium stockman and oddly enough was very limited in production. The Lumberjack was just a bit larger than any other stockman offering in the Old Timer line, or the predecessor open stock line. At 4 5/8 inches closed. It was so large some considered it a sheath knife, not a pocket knife.
