This 2005 Schatt & Morgan Teardrop Harness Jack was a Special Factory Order produced by Queen Cutlery. This knife marked the revival of the Harness Jack pattern. A member of our forum, Mr. Charlie Noyes, was the driving force behind their production. Thank you, Charlie!

Agreed, Bill. I find the punch blade to be indispensable on a knife. I imagine that was even more-so back in the horse and buggy days?

Cheers to you, my friend - thank you for the kind remarks.

If you had to end up with only one knife.  This would be a grand choice!!!  I really enjoy the Pic also.   Best regards!

Craig, this Harness Jack really is a sweet little knife. Like you with your Peanut, I have been carrying it quite a bit lately. One of the reason that I always have a Swiss Army Knife on me is because I use the punch or awl blade an awful lot. That's the thing that really drew me to this pattern on the S&M -- the punch.

In 2005 when this first generation of the current Harness Jack revival came out, Queen for Schatt & Morgan made a total of 400 in this teardrop pattern. Of that 400 there were 4 individual groups of 100 with each of those one hundred having a slightly different color and jigging on their bone handle. The one in the picture (mine) has the mahogany color. There was also crimson, golden root and, I believe, amber.

I'm definitely on the lookout for more Harness Jacks! Of course, I'm also on the lookout for a wheelbarrow full of money, too!

Cheers, my friend!
