The engraved bolsters was just a bonus.  All the knives are signed and dated by the engraver, Bob Valade.  They are all 2004 and 2005 editions.

Thanks Stephen.  I kind of got on a "tiny little Al Mar knife" kick recently and couldn't stop buying them until I had every scale material variation available and one that's not available any more.

Well, he only had (had) one Hawk in Pearl left and I couldn't take a chance on missing it so I just messaged him for it.  He has three more Cocobolo ones, so I can wait until next payday for one of those.

On the little ones (Ospreys) I like the Black Pearl better then the Mother of Pearl since it has more color.  The plain Pearl is just all white.  It's still nice.  I don't think the guy has any Hawks in Black Pearl though.  I'll have to grab the Pearl while I can though.

The little Ospreys are such sweet little knives.  When I found the matching Hawks, I just could not pass them up.  Those are the only two Hawks I have so far, but I want to get the Cocobolo wood and the Pearl at least.  The guy I'm getting them from has several, but at some point I'm going to have to pay my mortgage payment.  ;)
