 dear jan....it is ( cant tell exactly why ? )  one of the most comfortable handles i have ever hold 

and the knife is so well balanced !!

i got this one instead of the helle utvaer ( see the test video )  and have no regrets     GREAT KNIFE !

 (and i love curly birch by the way)

I have come back and looked at this one several times in the past couple of days.  The knife has great lines and just looks like it feels good in hand while using
