As I've said before, SOG has so much more to it than the Trident, Flash and Aegis designs. In this photo is one of my most favorite folders; the SOG Tomcat 3.0. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder...and to me, this knife is scintillating in it's beauty. The shape of the highly-polished VG-10 blade is one of my favorites (recognize it? see the Trident...and now you know where the Trident got it's blade design). The highly polished steel bolsters add a beautiful level of detail. The Kraton handle scales (steel lined) are super comfortable. And, of course, the Arc Lock makes this big blade deploy faster than you can blink an eye! Interestingly, the Tomcat doesn't have a pocket clip...it comes with a nicely made sheath. For some, this may be a deterrent; for me, I like it. The Tomcat 3.0 is, easily, one of the best made production folders on the planet! I could rave about this knife forever and never run out of praise for it...
