Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Spyderco's Calypso design has long been a favorite amongst knife collectors and users everywhere.

Spyderco's latest rendition of this platform is called the Caly 3.5. In many ways, it is a very basic Spyderco knife;

* VG10 Drop Point

* Black G10 handle scales

* Lockback with Boyd detent

* Wire pocket clip

And yet...the 3.5 version is so very much more. The blade is a little larger than the standard model (by 1/2"). The handle is slightly larger as well. While I consider the 3" Caly to be an absolutely wonderful EDC blade, the Caly 3.5 is even better, doubling as a goodly-sized EDC...AND tactical folder. Indeed, I consider this to be one of the very best Spyderco models currently available.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
