I'm a huge Endura fan. In fact, it is one of the knife designs that I enjoy collecting "the most". Shown here are my "all-new-for 2010" full-flat grind Endura's with different colored FRN handle scales:

* Foliage Green/Dark Green with ZDP189 steel.

* Bright Green/Kelly Green with VG10 steel.

* Purple with VG-10 steel.

* Bright Blue with VG10 steel.

* Earth Brown with VG10 steel.

* Flat Gray with VG10 steel.

Awesome stuff, Spyderco!

I've seen some debate over which Endura's are "better"...the ones with the saber grind or the ones with the full-flat grind. Here's my take on the subject:

A) The saber grind Endura's have a more generally durable blade. The blades are thicker out to the tip. They cut well enough for most applications that don't involve passing through a large amount of material in a single pass. That said, in defense scenario, the saber grind will perform "better".

B) The full-flat grind Endura's have a generally weaker blade design but make up for it in general cutting utility. The slightly thinner blade lightens the knife slightly and makes it awesome for food prep and cutting tasks that require some very fine precision.

All in all, as long as Spyderco keeps releasing different variations on the Endura theme, I'll be collecting them.
