Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Spyderco's collaborations with designer and custom knife maker Ed Schempp are wonderful things to behold. Mr. Schempp has quite an affinity for designing knives inspired by a variety of ethnic blades.

The knife found in this photo is the Kuhkri folder. Made in Japan, the quality of this collectible blade is exceptional, with an impressive level of detail put into each aspect.

While the design is extremely unorthodox...and not really something that I'd recommend for an EDC knife, it is compelling.

Predominantly, I picked this up to go with my Barong (another Ed Schempp design). The Kuhkri has been discontinued, so this isn't the easiest knife to find...but certainly worth the search!
