Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Unless you've been stranded on a desert island for the past couple of years...you should be familiar with Spyderco's Para Military 2 platform. It's garnered a TON of favorable accolades from the knife industry...and for A GOOD REASON. It's unbelievably effective as a medium-sized folding knife. I'll go so far as to say that it may well be the greatest folding knife design of all-time. Yes, I think that it's 'THAT GOOD".

Recently, I became aware of a new Sprint Run. I looked into it...and as soon as I saw the blue G10 handle scales, I knew that I "had to have it". So...the one you see in the photo has joined my steel family. Speaking of steel, this run features the incredible M390 steel. This is a highly-touted super-steel...and while I don't have any previous experience with Spyderco's M390...I have plenty with Benchmade knives sporting M390. This steel freaking rocks. Yup. the fun part about this particular release is how they've finished the steel. Take a close look! Pretty cool! In fact, I'd say that Spyderco's finish on this blows away the finish on any of my Benchmade M390 knives. Super sexy. Something else that I've noticed with all of my USA-made Spydies (that I've picked up in the past couple of months); the relief bevel on the blade's edge is way steeper than it used to be. I'm curious enough about it that I'll have to contact Spyderco and see "What's up?" They've all come razor sharp...but definitely different than any Golden, Colorado Spydies that I have before the end of 2010.
