One of the sayings that applies to Spyderco's Sprint Run editions is "Snooze, you loose!" They sell out faster than I can type this sentence...and if you don't get in early, you'll pay through the nose to land that special edition of your fave Spydie! One of the knife sites that I frequent is KnifeWorks (Roger Claunch). Fortunately, I happened to be cruising that sight when I spotted that they were having Spyderco do a Millie with Carbon Fiber handle scales and M390 steel. I have an earlier Millie with CF scales and BG-42 steel (shown in the background) and I'd recently nabbed a Para 2 with blue G10 and M390. In other words, I knew that I needed to get this new edition of the Millie "quick". So, I plopped down the depo and waited. Months passed and then Roger sent me an invoice. A mere couple of days after paying it, the beautiful knife that you seen in the photo was in my hands! This flawless blade is a perfect example of why I now have more Spyderco knives in my collection than anything else (even Benchmade and GEC!).
