You know...it wasn't all that terribly long ago that my reaction to seeing a knife made in Taiwan would have been one of "It has to be junk!" Not any more. The simple and rather tangible reality is that Taiwan is consistently making some of the best knives on the market. Shown here is one such example; the Spyderco Sage. CPMS30V blade steel. Carbon Fiber handles. Skeletonized steel liners. Beautiful back spacer-pillars. Great action and nearly flawless fit and finish. Yep. It's got all that. Candidly, this knife has been on my wish list for months. The wait was worth it. Very nice.
