From time to time, large knife manufacturers will take a much beloved knife and revamp it. Like many collectors, my initial reaction to such things is not usually very enthusiastic. This is particularly true when I like the knife design "as is". That said, sometimes those "revamps" are actually very well done and serve to improve the knife past it's previous iteration. Such is the case with Spyderco's Para Military 2. Though I'm reluctant to admit it...the new re-design is actually better in every single way.

Shown here is my new Para 2 in the limited Sprint Run edition with S90V blade steel and peel-ply carbon fiber handle scales. Sweet knife!
