I have to admit that the "Congress" slip joint knife platform is kind of "an acquired taste". At least it is for me. This year...interestingly enough, I've been enjoying this design (thanks to the good folks at Great Eastern Cutlery...and one of their best dealers, Gary Norton/Northwest Knife Company). In spite of my general dissatisfaction with the performance of the US Congress, the knife shown here is a real joy to hold. Like all GEC's, the quality is really top-notch. This particular model features thick Burnt Stag handle scales. Good stuff!
