Shown here is my Spyderco Temperance 2 fixed blade knife. Frankly, I had put off getting this knife for quite some time...even though it "called" to me pretty readily. The main reason that I fought getting this knife is the price tag. Suffice it to say that the price is just barely this side of outrageous. Still, I broke down and got the knife. Overall, the workmanship on the knife is superb. As a mid-sized fixed blade, this knife has the best ergonomics of any blade that I've had. The combination of VG10 blade steel and canvas micarta handles is a great one. Personally, I really dig the sand color of the micarta. The knife comes with a nice kydex sheath. Blo0dy expensive, but likely a knife that I'll have for life.

I seen that on the tactical knife show last week and my mouth started watering. That is a really good looking knife. The price on that  kept me away .  I may have to try and get one for my Christmas present. That will be a good EDC.

Bro, the temperance is just a very well-designed Mule. With some grinding you can duplicate that exact shape (although not length) on any Mule design with the advantage of the more exotic steel too.

The design of it is spot on though, but the price tag kept me away from it too.
