Spyderco keeps producing extraordinary Sprint Run editions of the popular Manix 2. This particular version sports coarse textured G10 and CTS-BD30P Carpenter's steel. Reportedly, the CTS-BD30P steel is the equivalent of CPM S30V with allegedly "better" edge-holding capabilities. The "coarse textured" G10 on this knife is INCREDIBLE. Normally, I love the checkering that Spyderco puts on it's American-made G10 knives. This is even BETTER! Sure, the satin blade finish and black-colored G10 make this knife look a bit plain; but under that all-business appearance is one of the best folding knives in production today!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
