This is the Elk Skinner #1 from Steve Smart Custom Knives, one of his most popular designs for years. Knowing that I use my hunting knives for close work in preparing meats for the smoker, he made this knife for me.

It features a textured 440C stainless hollow ground blade and Sambar stag scales.

This knife is also featured as part of the January collection in the 2003 iKC Calendar.
