As some of you may know, I like Striders...but I'm not a fanatic. That said, I cannot argue that some of their models/configurations are very appealing and well made. Shown here is a gunner-grip/digi-camo SnG version that I recently picked up from True North Knives/Neil Ostroff.

Before I comment on the knife, I have to give some props to Neil. He has a great selection and the service is SECOND TO NONE. Prices are very competitive as well. If you haven't checked True North Knives out, you should! And on to the knife...

In simple terms, Strider's general grip shape has never really rung my bell. However, the gunner grip version is smoking hot cool! G10 (Ranger Green) on one side and Titanium on the other. The machining on the grips is awesome. Now...check out the Digi Camo finish on the blade!!! That is freaking AWESOME! Very, very, very unique. Other than those freaking wicked aesthetics...the build quality is excellent. I do, though, miss the older Hinderer lock stop design. It looked..."better".
