Brad this one came out so beautiful. Kind of nice that it became a user, family memories are made that way. I am not in the least surprised that this took and held an edge. We have the same experience with these blanks

I gave this knife to my Local Bro-n-law for his display. But he ended up using it because it is sharp and holds an edge very well. He says he doesn't want to use it because it so pretty, but he knows it handle what he throws at it.
