Dale it writes really well and I am looking for some glass to break , as for the self defence aspect I have yet to try it out . It is very solid and well built and if you hit someone with it then they would stay hit .

I've been looking at these recently .. what do you think of its usefulness i.e. writing capability & glass breaking capability & self protection device ???
