Re: the threaded fasteners .... I had to take a LARGE standard slotted screwdriver .. lg enough to span the hole through the center & catch a portion of the slots on either side of the void .. and sand/file the tip until thin enough to fit within the narrow slot of the fastener head. Mine had loctite (or equivalent) present ..but.. wasn't that difficult to loosen.

Yes .. having the ability to increase / decrease the "friction" present in the friction folder is sweet .. allowing one to set @ a personal preference. Always cool.
