My late father traveled a lot working construction, and I can still remember him packing his H&R Defender .38 S&W (stoked with .38 New Police rounds that I never could convince him were nothing but an S&W .32 long with a flatter tipped bullet...lol) in his suitcase (or grip as he called it.) Lord only knows how many sleeping rooms/boarding houses/cheap hotels throughout Western Appalachia that H&R saw. He sold his, and I always wanted one like it...found mine last year in mint condition at a Pawn/Gun shop over in the next county. It's a keeper...
