This is the smooth bone, mine is a bit discolored

When Charlie saw this one he said I dont know what that is (referring to the slight pink hue) My response was "Mine please"

Jan,

I think they made a great choice! Because on a Barlow, in lieu of a shield, that large bolster is about the only place that the maker can spice the knife up a little. I love those large letters on the bolsters! Some of the older Robesons incorporate letters that are even larger. Compare the letter "C" on your knife and my knife. The font is the same. I love it!

Ron,

I believe in the design stage of these Charlie sent some of his favorites to Bill and together they chose the attributes they liked best to build one.  May be why we see a similarity here?

The lettering on the bolster reminds me of the lettering on one of my Robeson's...

I definitely like the Sheepsfoot master blades on the Tidioutes! In fact, so far I like everything Charlie & Co. have made!
