very neat.  I m currently using AI for my work laser marking as well.  I am basically using the laser marker (epilog 20W) as a printer.

I have not heard of a UV laser before.  Now I will have to research those.  :)

We work almost exclusively with 304(L) and 316(L) SS, so the fiber laser works great for our application.

I learned the hard way (set fire to the work piece) that you cannot mark/engrave wood with a fiber laser.  Gotta have a CO2 machine for that.

I use Adobe illustrator for all my art work. For metal I use a Fiber laser.  I also have a UV and CO2 machines.

What file format do you use for your laser marker?  For that matter, what laser marker do you like to use?  Fiber, or CO2 ?
