I was finally able to acquire a new custom slip joint from Todd Davison (been looking at his work since 2013!!). This one has a 2.75" CPM 154 hollow ground blade, phenomenal stag covers and coined edge.

Funny you should mention that Bryan. I used to hang out in the fabric section of stores looking for backgrounds there! Eventually, decided on buying packs of different pattern designer paper (12" x 12"). It's only flaw is that it can sometimes be too reflective. One of these days, I am going to get around to buying some matte black cinefoil. I does a good job of absorbing light.
Nice Dennis!
Next time you are at the local craft store, pick up a bag of remnant leather pieces. Try that as a background. You may like it....!
I just wish I chose a different background. The pic doesn't do this knife justice. I ordered some 6500K LED bulbs for my light box. When they get here, may try to take a better pic with a different background. The stag on this one is not only beautiful, but beautifully textured and contoured, which makes it feel almost sinful in my hand!!!
One day I will touch one of these!
That's gorgeous, Dennis! Congratulations! I must admit to being just a tad bit envious. Only because I know how great Todd's work is. Use it in good health, my friend!
I just can't believe it has taken me this long to snag one!!!
I agree Todd produces a well built knife worthy of a user and too good looking to use LOL
Todd does make nice knives !!!
