Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

You know what? I owe my iKC buddy, RicK a serious "thank you!" for putting me on to TOPS knives. I just dig 'em...and they are extremely well made. Shown here is one that he recommended to me a while back (had to save for it!); the Armageddon. It is a Trace Rinaldi design and very well done at that. Yeah...it has a "bad boy" name that sounds a bit ridiculous; and the second that you pick this massive blade up, well...all of a sudden the name doesn't seem ridiculous at all! How big is this WOMD? Well it has a 10 3/4" blade...and that 1095 slightly re-curved piece of steel came sharper than any fixed blade I've ever received. How sharp? HOW ABOUT SCARY SHARP??? Yup. Now we're talkin'. As always, the attention to detail is amazing; from tip to pommel, pure, awesome, brutal flawlessness. The micarta handle scales are TOP notch; perfectly done. And this intimidating blade is a real low production number...as in 6. Yeah...yup. Datz right. The only knock I'll give this really pleasing piece of steel is that for something that expensive, the sheath SHOULD be nicer. It's decent, but nowhere near the level of the knife.
