After scoring my TOPS Tom Brown Jr. T1 and T2 Tracker knives, I decided to check out more blades from the Idaho-based company. Shown here is my latest acquisition, the Interceptor 351 with the Hunter point. Like the Tracker knives, the build quality on this blade is FANTASTIC. All of the detailing is wonderfully done; the micarta handle scales feature a nice white trim line at the blade; very cool. Though a relatively small blade ( 4 7/16" long and 3/16" thick), this knife has great ergonomics that really feel comfortable in the hand. The handle is a little "short" (at least for my Mongo-meat-puppet hands; Aloha JT!), the curved butt of the handle just nests in the palm very nicely. The thumb-ramp is nicely jimped and helps this already "max-gription" knife really "lock in". My hat is off to TOPS. GREAT quality blades!
