Well...after my buddy RicK got me into the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker knives, I decided to start checking out other knives made by TOPS. I've been very happy with my Interceptor. So...I bought another TOPS knife; the Loner. To say that this knife ROCKS doesn't begin to do it justice. As a medium-sized blade, it is fast, light, and comfortable. The flowing wave shape of the knife...with it's reverse tanto point, only enhances the magnificent balance of this wonderful tool. As is the case with my other TOPS knives, the attention to detail is superb. Check out the powder coat on the blade...and then notice that the swedge is polished? Not only is it polished, it's sharpened. This knife cuts both directions! The photo doesn't even begin to show how cool this looks in person! The sheath is GREAT...and, surprise-surprise; the knife came with the lanyard on it. I am completely stoked by this blade!!! Nutnfancy...whose videos I really enjoy...was very wrong about TOPS. 1095 steel or not, their blades are worth every single penny!
