Wow! That is cool how they slid the shield between the ridges. It actually obscures a portion of the edges, but at the same time it looks like those ridges grew around and over the edges. Very cool, indeed!

check out the shield..they actually slid the shield into to ridge,rather than cut the ridge..real nice handywork whoever did this knife. was just sitting here looking at it..someone took pride in thier work!  :))
