Found this example few months. No tang stamps or other identifying marks other than "Barlow" on bolster.

J.J., I would not think of rebuilding this little treasure. It looks used, has a tiny nick on the butt end bone handle on this side. There was a fair amount of dried dirt inside bottom backsprings that I'd gotten most of out already. No rust inside, surprisingly.

I think it looks rite nice  as it is,

Barlow was my first pattern to want to carry!  This could have been rebuilt by someone with your talent T.

Barlow's were the first pattern that I bought more than one of.
