You continue to amaze me, Mike. Check under Levine's "U.S. Military fixed blades / machetes. It appears Collins & Co had a long standing history as a defense contractor / supplier. Most issued were the 18 " version. The Navy also sourced some 22" & 26 " models. This is likely an example of the 26" (blade length) model.
