This was a lighting test on a cloudy day using artificial light as a kicker to give the knife some pop and contrast.
This was my EDC for a while. Great little knife.

Hey Rusty,
This was in a friends front yard on a very cloudy day and I was trying to figure out an easy way to shoot a knife without lots of work. I don't recall for sure, but I would have only had my Canon flash with me, so I would have bounced it off something close. I think I bumped the contrast in Photoshop too.

What kind of artificial light did you use? It worked well without washing out the photo. Good shot!
