Canadian Trekker Knife by Scott Laughlin of Sandstorm K. of Campbell River,BC., in 5 mm Stainless CPM S35VN @ ~60 Hrc. Collaboration between us, on an design to be reasonably light yet strong: 7.75" blade / 5.5" grip. The blade is distally tappered and full flat grind, with a secondary bevel. (Not a Chopper but the steel is tough enough). Scott did a beautiful job here, adding an integral, light, Carbon-Fibber Bolster/guard/liner with Cedar-Burl Scales for a really beautiful effect. (Scott produces some lovely fishing & hunting knives, as well as folders. This one turned out really handy... still fits comfortably in the jeans pocket while dangling from the belt: great if you have to sit & drive)

Thanks. I would make a slight line modification to the grip-line now, but the blade is perfect (I use it as a Chef knife: works perfectly). The Mod would be to just aesthetic and minuscule... leaving the grip a touch taller by the front bolster...
