The leverlock is comfortable in the hand & the VG 10 core holds an edge.
The 110 will operate just like an off the shelf ..OR.. when the rear of the brass "shield" is depressed .. opens automatically.

Is the buck spring asist or is it a gravity self opening operation?  Something tells me I cant have one of these in NY state.

Thanks, Tim. I've a lifelong fondness for auto's & the Buck 110 has been on my want list since the day I first saw one. An icon of American cutlery .... automated. :)

The VG 10 core laminated steel leverlock is quite comfortable in the hand. While the wood on the one pictured is pretty mundane .. it'll probably get replaced when I convert the unit to southpaw. I've a brother who's left handed & this particular leverlock lends itself to easy conversion.

Thanks for looking !!!
