Any response would be nebulous .. at best.

.

I would suggest .. take a look on EBAY. Understand .. you've the largest "IDEAL" model made .. longest blade. i.e. likely fewer manufactured. That adds some value. The stamping is clear & strong .. that's good. Some might argue .. the personalized stamping on the pommel would detract from it's value .. I would not listen to that. While it shows honest use .. I noticed no signs of obvious abuse.

.

!!! .. I would also suggest .. don't do anything to it .. !!!

.

Beyond .. perhaps.. a good coating of Ren Wax. Do not store it in a leather case .. too easy for moisture to occur .. possibly leading to accelerated oxidation .. rust. What you have is a rare old knife in quite respectable shape.

.

Enjoy

Tracy

The 1/2" tang nut puts the age at pre-1924 ..or.. thereabouts.
.
i.e. "The tang nut changed around 1923 from a 1/2 inch to a 3/8ths, ..." (link .. near the btm).

.

Date of manufacture is likely somewhere between 1911 -(end of the MSA stamp)- and 1923 -(changing of the tang nut from 1/2" to 3/8")-. Thanks for providing the requested info when asked.

.

Enjoy
