This is one the special electronics type scales model of Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. It has a digital clock, alarm function and countdown timer. The special white/red shield is a button which operates all of the digital functions. This knife also has the white led light with dual position switch, momentary and constant on. Both the clock and led light take common button type batteries available at most stores and jewelers. The rear scale is unique. Since the front scale has the clock there could not be a tweezers so they cut the tweezers shorter than normal and added it to the back side scale which already has the ink pen and toothpick. The scales are not waterproof.
