No worries, guys. It will stay in the box.

Speaking of which. The exterior of this box is in pretty good shape. The crushed velvet / velour lining on the interior, as you can see, has not fared quite so well. I may be on the lookout for another box or a more suitable resting place for my new favorite knife. I was amazed to discover an Ebay auction with a similar Kalinga box in worse shape than mine being offered with a "Buy It Now" price of $60. That was JUST for the box! Ouch!

But, yes, Jan -- You can rest assured that my Kalinga will stay in the box. Albeit a better one if it can be found.
