From left- Belgium sandstone, Rozsutec sandstone(fine grain), slate and marble. All of these stones must be wet when used. I use only water, no oils. The sandstone would clog up if oil was used and would lose its qualities. The marble and slate are not porous so oil can be used on these two stones. The size of each stone is about 14cm x 7cm x 3cm.
